HG PureWater
The HGW-03 Replacement Filter Set contains the three cartridges required for a complete scheduled filter change.
The set includes:
1 × 20-inch PP sediment filter
1 × 20-inch activated carbon block filter
1 × 20-inch granular activated carbon filter
Each cartridge performs a different role, helping restore water clarity, chlorine reduction, water taste and whole-house flow performance.
HG PureWater
Stage 1 — PP Sediment Filtration
The first-stage polypropylene filter helps capture physical impurities before they enter the carbon-treatment stages.
It can help reduce:
Rust particles
Sand and dirt
Silt
Suspended particles
Other visible sediment
Removing larger particles at the beginning of the process helps protect the carbon cartridges and supports more consistent system flow.
Stage 2 — Activated Carbon Block
The second-stage carbon block provides concentrated contact with activated carbon.
It helps reduce:
Chlorine taste and odour
Unwanted tastes and smells
Selected organic compounds
Fine particles that pass through the first stage
This stage also helps improve the overall smell and feel of household water.
Stage 3 — Granular Activated Carbon
The final GAC cartridge provides additional activated-carbon contact before the water enters the household plumbing network.
It helps polish the water by providing further reduction of chlorine taste, odour and selected compounds commonly associated with treated municipal water.
